Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry, we collect the name, business email, country or market, business type, product interest, message and source page you provide. We also receive limited technical information such as browser type, referring page, country code and a Cloudflare request identifier.
For security and rate limiting, the visitor IP address is converted into a salted cryptographic hash before storage. The enquiry database does not store the original IP address.
How we use information
- Respond to product, pricing, distributor and support enquiries
- Prepare quotations and coordinate order fulfilment
- Protect the form from abuse, duplicates and automated submissions
- Understand which pages and channels generate legitimate business interest
- Maintain records necessary for customer support, fraud prevention and legal compliance
We do not sell personal information. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated consumer profiling.
Service providers and international processing
Cloudflare provides website delivery, security verification, serverless processing, database storage, email notification and aggregated web performance analytics. Email communications may be processed by the recipient’s email provider. If Google Analytics is activated, it will be used only after the applicable consent preference and will be identified in this policy.
Because MEKVANTA serves international customers, information may be processed in countries other than the visitor’s own. We use service providers and access controls appropriate to the service being delivered.
Cookies and analytics
Cloudflare Web Analytics is designed to provide aggregated traffic and performance information without tracking individual visitors across websites. If optional analytics requiring cookies or similar identifiers is enabled, the website will present a choice before activating it where required.
Security and retention
Access to enquiry records is limited to business and technical purposes. Records are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the enquiry, manage a customer relationship, prevent abuse and meet legal or accounting obligations. Retention periods may differ where an enquiry becomes a contract or support case.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. Please do not submit payment card details, passwords, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information through the enquiry form.
Your choices and contact
You may ask to access, correct or delete information associated with your enquiry, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements. You may also object to or restrict certain processing where applicable.
Send privacy requests to sales@mekvanta.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We may need to verify that the requester controls the relevant email address.
