International equipment logisticsTerms confirmed before order
SHIPPING & DELIVERY

International delivery begins with a written scope.

Equipment configuration, destination, freight method and import responsibilities must be confirmed before payment. This page explains the process without replacing the terms in your quotation.

What the quotation should confirm

  • Machine model, voltage and included fixtures
  • Consumables, spare parts and optional accessories
  • Packing method and number of packages
  • Dispatch estimate and freight method
  • Named destination and applicable delivery term
  • Which party handles freight, insurance, duties, taxes and customs clearance
Your written proposal controlsWebsite examples are not fixed shipping promises. The accepted quotation or contract determines the actual scope for an order.

Production and dispatch timing

Lead time begins according to the payment and order-confirmation conditions in the quotation. Timing can vary by configuration, stock, testing, documentation and carrier availability. A dispatch estimate is not the same as a guaranteed delivery date unless expressly stated.

Freight, customs and destination charges

MEKVANTA may coordinate courier, air or sea freight depending on the equipment and destination. The applicable Incoterm or equivalent allocation of responsibility will be shown in the quotation.

Unless the written terms expressly include them, the buyer is responsible for import licences, customs clearance, duties, taxes, local compliance and destination handling charges. Buyers should verify local import and electrical requirements before ordering.

Receiving and inspection

Inspect the outer packaging before signing the carrier receipt. Record visible damage on the receipt, photograph every side of the package and keep all packing materials. After opening, check the machine, fixtures and included accessories against the packing list.

Transit damage and missing items

Report visible damage, concealed damage or shortages to sales@mekvanta.com as soon as possible and within any carrier or insurance deadline stated in the shipping documents. Include the order reference, serial number, packing photographs and a clear description.

Do not discard packaging or attempt major repairs before receiving instructions, because this may affect a carrier, insurance or supplier claim.
